Exciting times! The Society has found a second hand turbine for sale which is the correct size to meet the requirements of our planning permission.
A deposit has been raised from local supporters, and we are very grateful to their swift responses to the request, without which we would have missed the opportunity.
Next steps are to undertake due diligence on the turbine, which is currently lying horizontal following its importation from a Danish wind farm, and subject to the outcome of this review, we will then prepare an invitation to invest to raise the full funds required to complete the purchase.
